In a time of global crisis, an Global task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world:

It finished the catastrophe and helped to keep peace in the decades that followed, inspiring an age of exploration, invention, and discovery. But after several years, Overwatch's influence waned, and it was eventually disbanded.

Overwatch is gone... but the world still needs heroes.

Overwatch features a broad selection of unique heroes, ranging from a time-jumping adventurer, to a armored, rocket-hammer-wielding warrior, to a transcendent robot monk. Every hero performs differently, and controlling their abilities is the key to unlocking their potential. No 2 heroes will be the same.

Whether you are engaging in battle on the front , providing defensive cover with your energy shield, or encouraging your allies by amplifying their damage, every Overwatch hero's abilities are designed to be effective within a team. Learning how to utilize your skills in concert with your teammates' is the key to victory.

Teams of personalities do battle across Earth. From protecting the secrets of the mysterious Temple of Anubis, to securely escorting an EMP device through King's Row, the world is the battlefield.

The attacking team's objective is to maneuver the payload to a shipping point, while the defenders must stop the attackers' advancement until time runs out.

Two groups battle over control of the mapone team on offense, another on defense. The attackers' aim is to capture crucial objectives, while the defenders must keep control over them until time runs out.
